If you know me, you know I love all things home. You also know that if you were to put 5 similar sofas in a lineup, I would unknowingly choose the most expensive one. I have a love and appreciation for quality and sometimes that can be challenging because a little word called “budget”……I know I’m not the only one. However, I am the type that will save up for a long period of time to save up for that oneeee piece I really want rather than just buy a something because it’s a lower price (but may only last a year or so). I have found that a more expensive price tag doesn’t always mean quality though. I have worked in sales at home and interior design stores for years and I can also confidently tell you that a more affordable price doesn’t mean it lacks craftsmanship or quality. In fact, I have seen the SAME exact products from wholesalers sold at “High-End Store A” that are sold at the more affordable “Store B”…..and there is no difference other than an elevated price.
All of that to say, I am very intentional about the pieces I fill my home with. While I tend to have an eye for designer brands, I am not at all unaware that “designer” doesn’t always mean better quality. Will I splurge on designer brands and more expensive home finds? ABSOLUTELY! But the quality will also be there! A few designer brands you will find searching often are McGee & Co., Anthropologie,
Will I buy home goods on Amazon? UM YES!!! Many times, you will find the SAME wholesale brands on Amazon that you’re purchasing in a retail store! You may not realize it’s a wholesale brand, but it is—trust me. For instance, Creative Co-Op, Bloomingville, Napa Home and Garden, MudPie and Afloral are wholesale brands that you’re probably already buying at local boutiques and stores. Should you keep shopping locally? PLEASE!!!!! I sincerely love and support small businesses and brick and mortar stores. BUT, don’t be afraid to search Amazon to compare prices or think Amazon doesn’t have wonderful, quality brands.
Below I am sharing home finds exclusively from Amazon. You will finds something for every budget and style. You will find the mood boards below are inspired by some of my favorite brands like McGee and Co, Anthropologie, Shoppe Amber Interiors, Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn, and CB2. You’ll also notice that I have a love for more than one style. I don’t think we have to stick to one style in our homes. I believe we should simply purchase items we love and that speak to us even if it crosses “style” lines. I love all things classic and traditional, but I also like more modern styles too. I own a midcentury dining set (see how I refinished it here!!), but I also have a deep love for a more collected, cottage-core, vintage type of style. Give me deep colors, rich textures and mixed patterns like Ralph Lauren all day long, but don’t be surprised if you see me sharing Serena and Lily finds from time to time because they’re BEAUTIFUL and I have an appreciation for all things beautiful! I hope you enjoy the Amazon finds below and feel inspired as you create home.
